![]() They have published games with Disney themes ( Disney Villainous), Choose Your Own Adventure ( House of Danger), popular movies ( Jaws, Home Alone Game), and they've even had notable success with a game based on that lover of "friendly little trees", Bob Ross. Why you might have heard the name is that they are one of these companies that have partnered with a good number of well-known publishers to mainly bring games to the market that use familiar IPs. ![]() I was surprised to find out that this isn't one person at all but the design team arm of Forrest-Pruzan Creative, an "innovation studio" specializing in games. ![]() I hope you enjoy this little blog of games that you too would probably not have come across if it wasn't for someone spending a moment with that rarely-pressed 'Random' button.ĭesigner: Prospero Hall Design Team ( Disney Villainous)Ī designer's name you may have seen about in the past couple of years is Prospero Hall. At minimum, the rules for the game must be available online, and at some point the game must have been published or made available as a print ‘n play. As such, I now go with the first random game which provides enough information to make a decent post about. I have found that a great number of games on BGG have such little information in their listing that I wouldn't have much to say at all (if anything) about certain games. My original goal was to write about the first game that came up randomly, no matter how trivial or comprehensive the game. It is my hope that from this blog I will come across a game that I would have never found otherwise and end up loving. I have spent years researching popular and semi-popular games, but so little of my attention was on the largely forgotten ones. This is a log of these random games and what I've discovered. Welcome! I look at a completely random board game for each entry (using BGG's 'Random Game' feature), reflect on the rules, theme and presentation, sometimes get into deeper tangential research, and generally get an overall sense of a game that I most likely would have never come across otherwise.
